Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I violated my probation by failing a marijuana drug test. i had a cannabis card but the court told me that it was not acceptable, so couldnt use. they're giving me two options one is to admit and serve 30 days no more than that. promised by the judge second have a probation hearing and still serve no more than 30 days. please help what is the best descision i should choose it dosent make sense the choices is pretty much the same but i know there is catch!

This does not really make any sense. Why did the Court tell you that it was not acceptable? What was the original charge? Did you represent yourself?
