Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

Hi, I am 15 years old and my fiance is 18, we want to get out of our houses because they cause us emotional distress, we want to know what state we can get married in legally and have no issues and just live our life, without parental consent in the matter. Also we are willing to get myself pregnant to make this work. thanks so much

1. You do not make a child in order to act simply to get out from under your parents' control. That is selfish to the extreme and immoral. When you have a child you must make the child your priority and sacrifice your own desires. Assuming that your parents have not done this for you is no reason to pass that lack of priorities from you to your child.

2. If your situation is so bad at home there ARE people whom you can call for help. Your local Child Protective Services department should be able to help if you are being abused. They can seek a guardianship for you if your parents are abusing you. BUT, seeking out some guy to get pregnant with to get out of your parents' control is NOT the way to do it!

3. Once out of your parents' house and with your "fiancee" how do you plan on supporting yourselves, let alone a new baby? I suspect that at ages 15 and 18 neither you nor your fiancee have the financial ability to pay for lodging, food, insurance, clothing, utilities, transportation, medical care, etc. How are you expecting to pay for this? Also, should you get pregnant your costs will skyrocket!

4. Finally, getting involved with an 18 year old when you are only 15 is something that sounds exciting when you are 15. However, there is a reason that you are not considered to be an adult until age 18. Most people do not have the basic maturity to make adult decisions in their lives at age 15. While you may think yourself very mature for your age there is no way that your experience can have properly prepared you for living the consequences of what you state your actions will involve.

I am going to try very hard not to insult your intelligence. I support Young Love. Yet only in the movies and on TV are there places where young lovers can just go and settle on the land and raise cute, fuzzy farm animals. Those days are gone. There might be places where you can get legally married, and I am certainly in no position to decide whether that would be better or worse than the situation you're now in. You. Really. Do. Not. Need. A. Baby. In. The. Picture. Right. Now.
