Of course. First, it is a violation of most Christian and other religions' doctrines and moral teachings, which would be grounds for expulsion from the congregation and any position. Second, the discrimination laws do not apply to churches, so there is no legal action available to you. With all that said, Christian teaching is 'love the sinner, hate the sin'. In Catholic doctrine the way it is put is that it is the 'practice' that is sinful, not the 'being'.
