Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

I need to know if I can legaly date an 24 yr old while i am 17.

I also wanted to know if i could move out of mothers home, if i stay in school.

The 24 year old can be charged with rape.

You can move to a different state. Under 24 and over 16 is legal in FL. Mostly, though, you cannot do that. I'm not sure of Cali's laws, but if you are a minor, you usually have to stay in your mom's house and obey her rules. That sucks, I know.
