Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

Race discrimination

I am an employee in a large corporation of more than thousands of staff in U.S. Within 15 years of consistent high performance, I have been promoted couple of times and relocated to U.S by the company 4 years ago. I was promoted again to grade 12 from grade 11 last year after job performance reviews and approved by executive level. This is a director grade and entitle to a free parking lot in company building. I was transfered to a new job 6 months ago to in charge of 5 departments with 11 staff report to me. I also report to a VP. However, in last month reorganization, my boss was replaced by a new VP. The new VP told me that I was only required to in charge of one department with 2 staff only and also downgraded to 11 and report to a local Director (He is same grade 12 as me before). This Director takes over all my 5 departments. I also lost my free parking due to downgrade. I asked the new VP for reason. He just told me that since I only required to in charge one department so should be downgrade to 11. I am still a green card holder and would like to know whether the company exposed itself to race discrimination.

Re: Race discrimination

I see nothing in what you said that suggests race discrimination.
