Expect to need an attorney to defend the charges and try to negotiate a plea bargain that avoids jail. Expect to either go to trial if you think you can win, or negotiate a deal that will require you to pay substantial fines, lose your license for a while, have to attend alcohol school, be put on probation, etc. Expect your auto insurance premiums to go up. If you don't timely file an appeal with the DMV, expect to lose your license for a year, independently of whatever the court requires. If serious about getting legal help, and if this is in SoCal, feel free to contact me.

What to expect will depend on the Court you are in and the Judge and DA you are dealing with, it very greatly around the state. You are facing up to 6 months in jail, fines and the loss of your license - which means you should take the case very seriously.
