Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Hello, My bf received his 2nd dui & missed his court date. He's aware there is a bench warrant out for his arrest. What should he do now to fix this?

**He has one prior dui & hired a lawyer but she wasn't helpful. He was arrested at his home on the first dui due to mixed paperwork with the weekend work. He was held overnight & released after the judge confirmed the court error.

I am unclear on the circumstances you mentioned with regard to your bf's initial dui arrest. But he must respond to the benchwarrant, his failure to act will only make things more difficult. He risks a high bail and jail time. He should retain counsel and surrender on the warrant as soon as possible.
