Legal Question in DUI Law in California

i just go my car towed due to a error in the dmv or the vallejo police station.. there saying that my license is supend and has been since 2008 because of a dui. but i've been to court and the case was drop due to a unprofessional officer which i still the the criminal minute order for.. beside that my license was issued 6 months after i recieve the dui ticket and i still have a sr-22 on file... the officer did not care to even look at the facts that i was staten.. do i have a case and who should pay for my car tow fees the police or the dmv

Did you ever have a DMV APS hearing on the underlying DUI? If not, or if you did and lost, then the DMV suspended your license even though the court case was dismissed.

The DMV proceedings are comletely seperate from the court case and must have been handled seperately. I suspect you did not do this and that is the issue. Unfortunately, this means you must clear the DUI at DMV
