District attorney reject

What does it mean when a case is closed and the reason stated is D.A rejection?

That means you are one lucky puppy! The DA decided there wasn't enough evidence to prosecute so they dumped the case. The DA may still file the case within the period of the statute of limitations if sufficient evidence turns up. But for now, you're off the hook. Good Luck, and don't drink and drive again.
