Driving with a suspended license
I got a dui a year ago. I finished the dui classes and got a certififcate of completion. I did not get my license yet because I could not afford to pay for previous traffic tickets and get insurance. I was driving my wifes car and only got a ticket for driving without a license. I plan on seeing the judge and stating that I am not driving at this time, that time it was only an emergency because I had to pick up my daugther from another city. How much trouble am I going to get into, jail time? Fine? I just got a job so I am trying to avoid any jail time, do I need a lawyer?? Bt the way when I got pulled over I was sober, if that matters. Thanks.
