Drunk Driver totaled parked car
We bought a car in May 2007 and in November a drunk driver (Police reported he was drunk) slammed into it, totaling it. This all happened at 2 in the morning and our vehicle was parked on the street next to our house. His insurance is sending us a check for $7000 less then what we owe on the vehicle. Is there anything we can do to claim the difference?

sue. Go to small claims court. Don't cash the check if it requires a release.
