Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Possible drunk driving resulting in a rear ending

My 23 yr old daughter was involved in an accident. She allegedly rear-ended a vehicle stopped at a light. She was dazed and in shock. The officers on site said that she appeared inebriated. They said that she refused a breath test and took her to jail with out taking her to the hospital. She has pain in her head, neck and chin. Should I have her blood drawn when I pick her up? She needs to go to the hospital to be checked.

Get it tested if it is within a few hours of being arrested. Later than that, it won't matter.
