Legal Question in DUI Law in California

I got a DUI in 2007. I was told to go to DUI school and moved to another state. I failed to take the class. I now have a warrant for my arrest. Since, I've also gone through a 4 month in-house drug and rehab program and have been clean since Feb 2008. I want my license back but am afraid to go to the courts because of the warrant. what shoudl I do?

You have no choice. If you want to clear the warrant, you have to submit to the court and 'deal' with the problem. Most people hire an attorney to go to court with them and 're-negotiate' a deal and probation terms, if possible. You face potential jail and fines, which are up to the judge, but your attorney's job is persuasion. If the court is in SoCal, and you are serious about hiring counsel, feel free to contact me. You drug program completion will help influence the outcome.
