Legal Question in DUI Law in California

failure to appear

i was released from oc jail on wednesday and had a court date for a dui (my 1st) on that same day. however i did not show because i didnt have transportation it is now friday and i would like to know what should happen if i show up to court today

Go to court at 8 AM SHARP any day and ask the clerk to put up your case, probably nothing bad will happen if you take care of this right away.
