Legal Question in DUI Law in California

False reports

I had called DUI on a neighbor who I saw driving under the influence. I used 911, police could not see me until suspect was at home in driveway. He was arressted after a few minutes of anger session with the police and refused a breath and all tests. He is claiming I made the whole story up and is going to try to get it shown in court . What could happen?

Re: False reports

1. As to him, refusing alcohol tests is illegal and at best his license will be suspended.

2. Under CA law he can't sue you for calling the cops, even if your information was bogus and/or malicious.
