Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Injured passenger of DUI driver

I was recently injured in a car accident where my friend was arrested for DUI. I understand that his insurance will pay for my medical bills but if I sue him for personal injury, will the insurance company have to pay or will my friend have to pay out of pocket? My friend has full coverage, not aware of amounts.

If he has insurance, it pays up to the limits of coverage. If this is in SoCal, feel free to contact me for legal help in getting your recovery.

Re: Injured passenger of DUI driver

If you seek recovery for your personal damages, your friend's insurance will cover the cost of defense and will pay up to his policy limits.

What were your injuries?
