Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Have license but worried about transfer of probation

Recently, I was put on a two year probation for DUI in another state. I am planning on attending law school in California. I do have a Califonia license that has not been affected as a result of my recent conviction, in other words, it is valid (I am sure of this). I am worried however about transfering my probation to California. Will the DMV suspend my California license?

Talk to the probation department in your home state. You may be able to move to California to attend school without transferring your probation to California. If this can be done then California DMV will not become aware of your presence in California.
