If you loan your car tosomeone and

they destroy other peoples propertyis the person wholoaned the car liable. and if you (the loaner) are married and the property in only in your name can

that person be liable. the person was a drunk driver with a history

The loaner of the car will be liable for damages per statute and may be liable for the entire amount of damages if they knew that the person habitually drunk and drove.
