Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Statute if Limitations if name was not on court docket

On my court date, the paperwork was not complete and my name and my file was not at the court I went to. The DUI incident took place three months before the court date, and yet there was still no file of it. I went to the court room the ticket had for me to go to and it didnt have paperwork on my DUI case. They told me to go to the DA and even then, they signed the ticket that i actually did appear and told me to go to traffic court. I did, and they had no record there of me either. It has been five months since the incident and no word... my question is, how long is the statute of limitations on a juvenille DUI case until the charges are dropped due to time lapse?
