Legal Question in Education Law in California

I was delusional for about a year before someone noticed and I was hospitalized. During my delusional period I was enrolled in school and I habitually would fail to show up after most of the semester as a result of my delusions. I wish to remove those grades from my transcript since I was not in my right mind when I enrolled. Am I entitled to have this done?

Are we talking about grades at the secondary or post-secondary level? I am more familiar with post-secondary institutions. They invariably have policies concerning illness and mechanisms for adjusting grades due to illness. Have you presented your case to whatever administrative body handles these issues? Note that private schools in California are less likely to have procedures in place to deal with these issues. See: www.higheredjustice.com
