Legal Question in Education Law in California

I live in Lakewood Ca, I was sending my children to school in El Segundo Ca. My children have been kicked out of school because we do not live in the city. Issue: My daycare as well as family live in the city of El Segundo. My children spend over 50 percent of their time there. They are involved in School Activities as well as the city of El Segundo's swim team. They have never missed school and we provide transportation as well as lunch. What if any are my options.

I had a similar problem with my kids. The key is to obey the law. Get a copy of the rules for going to school in the district you want. So long as you meet that requirement, they cannot legally throw your kids out of school. In my case, they actually hired a private investigator to follow my kids, but I had complied with the law, and they had to let my kids stay. I am new to LawGuru, but I believe my phone number is displayed to you. Please call me for more advice. Based on the facts you have provided, I feel confident I can help keep your kids in the school of your choice. Good luck!
