You can find attorneys licensed to practice law in California (and their contact information) at "www.calsb.org" using the "member search" function. This will not, however, tell you if he or she is competent in elder law.

Go to www.calbar.org and you can check to see if the individual is licensed to practice law in California (or you can call the California State Bar office in SF or LA). It will not indicate what kind of law they practice.
