Legal Question in Entertainment Law in California

Another actor in the SAG has been using my name. I registered with the union many years before she. Yet, the union does nothing to enforce it. How can I assert she use her appropriately registered name?

This is a union matter and you would need to made a complaint with SAG. There are no statutory (legal) restrictions on the use of names, but the union has rules forbidding more than one member from using the same name. Your SAG representative can explain the rules to you and steps you can take.
