Small claims

Can you take someone to small claims court to sue for

copyright matters. Someone is using my songs and I have copyrighted them. HELP PLEASE!

Generally all questions of Copyright must be sent to the Federal Copyright court. I would be happy to answer your question in more detail if you would give me more information.

Again, the federal courts have exclusive jurisdiction over copyright matters. You were wise to register the copyrights. Please hang up from the Internet and consult an attorney in person.

Yes. Copyright infringement is a federal court matter. If your copyright registration is solid there are less expensive methods to try before jumping to federal court (which can get very expensive). Feel free to email me additional info.
