No, the parties cannot get married again after a judgment of legal separation. They can only get married if there is a judgment of dissolution of the marriage.

Mr. Roach should either stick to answering questions he actually knows the answer to, or should do a little research to find out what he is talking about. Family Code section 2336 covers the requirements for obtaining a default judgment of dissolution. If a 2336 judgment of dissolution of marriage is entered, it is a dissolution, not a legal separataion, and the parties are free to remarry.
