Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have 4 kids and all under the age of 4 with my husband who has moved out and I'm beginning the divorce process , he comes and goes when he wants and leaves me stuck with all appointments and financial bills and I am desperate to move close to my family and friends in another state , I was told I have to legally have a court order to move outa state with the kids and I'm willing to share custody but I cannot afford this a lawyer pls advice !!

If you have already filed, you must seek permission to move the children to another state or you will be violating the automatic temporary orders. If you have not filed there is nothing preventing you from moving with the children to another state, but you could be required by a Court in California to return the children to California, if your ex files here in California.
