Legal Question in Family Law in California
If an American guy marries a girl from the Philippines, and then essentially just uses her for tax purposes but will not divorce her (very difficult in their country) or petition to bring her to the US, what recourse does she have? Can she legally force him to pay her some kind of spousal support while they are married?

If he is in California, she can divorce him here AND ask for spousal support as part of the judgment.
