Re: Bad Parent Going Out Never Has Kids

The longer the children live with you the better your chance of success in obtaining a custody order favorable to you. The court looks at several factors in making a decision regarding custody. First who is the primary care provider; Second how well are the children doing in school, etc. Third which parent will foster a relationship between the children and the other parent. Keep a record of the contact she has with the children. How are the children she has custody of doing in school etc.

Because a divorce is emotionally traumatic for the children you should consider counseling for them. This counseling could be very helpful to you in a custody hearing.
