Is it possible to do a bifurcation by myself and usually how long does it take?

Yes, you have to do a motion and include form FL-315. Here is the fillable form http://www.courtinfo.ca.gov/forms/fillable/fl315.pdf

Also, you need to include all of the conditions in FL-315.

It usually takes about 45 days. Make sure both sides have submitted their preliminary disclosures.
