Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am on the birth certificate of a child in AZ. Back in 2009 I did a paternity test and the chil was not mine. So I have not been I. The kids life at all. Suddenly AZ is asking me to attend a hearing. Do I need a lawyer for this? Should I not say anything?

You better bet you need a lawyer. You should have had the birth records corrected as soon as you got the paternity test. Until that happens you are legally the child's dad. You need to get a good lawyer who can try to get the correction made retroactively or you may be on the hook for a lot of child support.
