Legal Question in Family Law in California

Changing the court order

Two years ago my I got divorce, and came to an agreement in sharing custody of our 2 children, one of the orders was that an ex-girlfriend of my exhusband was not to be around the children at all times, because of issues that this person had against me( she stocked me & my family). Now after 2 years she is back in his life and he wants to go back to court and have that order change, What are the changes of a judge granting this? or how can I avoid this?

Re: Changing the court order

You can avoid going back to court by agreeing with him, otherwise, you should let the court decide. Your chances of prevailing depend upon the circumstances of the original stalking and whether she has done anything to reform. You should probably discuss this with a custody attorney who can give you more complete advice with more complete information. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
