Charges brought in a Domestic Violence Case

In a domestic violence case where the victim already has a court ordered restraining order against that person, although they continued living together, then another incident happened and victim was talked into pressing charges but has changed her mind what is the procedure and can she rescind that?

The state can continue without her, since basically it is the state who has filed an action against her husband. If she has children, continuing to live with this man when a restraining order is in effect could result in the children being placed in a home. This woman needs to get into a shelter and seek counseling. It will help. In Orange County, the Sheriff's website has lists of helpful organizations for victims of domestic violence.
