What grounds do I need to get immediate temporary custody of a 5 year old child

If the child is your child, you can possibly get immediate custody with an ex-parte order. With a good degree of confidence I can say that you would get shared custody. Depends. Is this your child or someone else's? Simply put, for immediate custody orders you need to show that there is a danger to the child that needs immediate redress.
