I'm living with a women who had my child and we are not married. What rights do I have as the father. I want at least 50/50 custody. We make the same income.

Re: Child Custody

If you were never married to the mother, you must file a paternity action to establish rights to have a role in your child's life. How much access or custody you would have depends on how the court views the best interest of the child.

These are complex areas of the law.

I would advise you to consult an attorney.
