If my child support is due on the first of the month do I have a grace period? If so how long?

Not unless the order contained a grace period. There is no automatic one under the law.

Grace period before what? Mr. Roach is correct that there is no legal grace period. On the othe hand most of the penalties for being late don't come into play until you are 30-days past due. It's even longer than that for some things.
