I have child support garnishments, my employer received the Termination of IWO and after the date on the document, the employer kept taking money from my check, what can I do to get my money back

Contact the agency to which the payments were sent and request a refund of the payments which occurred after the termination of the IWO.

I agree with Mr. White. You should talk to your employer, and any agency that took the money after the IWO was terminated.

I disagree with the previous answers. It is not your burden to go to the receiving agency for a refund of money that the employer wrongfully withheld and may or may not have sent to the agency. Point out to your payroll dept. that they wrongfully withheld pay and owe it to you. It is up to them to get any refund. If they refuse, tell them you will be forced to file a wage claim for unpaid wages with the Dept. of Industrial Relations, Bureau of Labor Standards Enforcement.
