How do I get my child support lowered. My income has been less than half of what it was for the past 3 years. The divorce was finalized over 10 years ago.

You file a motion to modify support. It is very routine in situations such as yours.

File a request for order with the court seeking a downward modification of support. Keep in mind that the court cannot modify the support until you do so. The court has to power to modify the support to the earliest date that you filed your motion. Time is of the essence.
