child support and medical insurance

Can I obtain medical insurance on my own instead of continuing to get it through my job? i pay $620.00 a month through my job for medical and I can no longer afford it.

Yes you can agree to medical insurance as long as the child is covered. You should probably contact the other parent and work out an agreement on how the child is to be covered under medical insurance policies.
