Am I resposible for my husband's debts aquired after seperation and before divorce is final?

As betweeen you and him within the dissolution,no.
As between you and third party credtors,perhaps. If they can get at you to collect, they may well try. Remember, the dissolution is a lawsuit between you and your spouse and cannot affect the rights of parties not a part of that lawsuit (ie a creditor).

Legally you should not be responsible for the debts incurred by your husband after separation. However, your creditors may not be so easily convinced. You need to make sure you cancel all credit cards your husband may have access to. You also need to make sure he has no access to your bank accounts or stocks and bonds, etc. Note that you cannot transfer any assets w/o your husband's prior consent. A judgment should include a clause that says each party is solely responsible for the debts he/she incurred after the date of separation.
