Legal Question in Family Law in California

going through a divorce where all credit cards, cars, and loans were in my name alone due to my spouse unwilling to put her name on it. Is she liable for part of it? also, she has been unwilling to get a job for nearly a year.

All debts and all assets acquired with earnings earned during the marriage are community property, meaning she owes half. Spousal support may be awarded temporarily if she is unemployed, but if you have been married for less than 10 years it will have a cut-off of 1/2 the length of the marriage and will be accompanied by an order to find work. If the marriage is more than 10 years it will not have a cut off, but may be based on what she should be earning if she continues to refuse to work.
