When a person files for a divorce, how long does it take before it is finalized, and when do they start counting the time, from when they file, or when the person is served?

1-The time starts when the Respondent is served.

2. It is a minimum of six months from that date. Keep in mind, someone has to keep pushing the ball downfield.
