My brother is going through a divorce. Has a Court Order (for when they go to court) to get his personal belonings. Her rent check bounced and she moved out of state - Is my brother going to be able to get his stuff or will they sell it for the rent owed?

He should immediately contact the landlord and make arrangements to regain his property. The landlord must store the property and then sell it at auction. The landlord can deduct the costs of storage and the suction of the property. Any surplus funds must be given to the tenant or given government.
