Legal Question in Family Law in California

dr.lic. suspended

My drivers license has been suspended for about

2-3 years for past due child support. My question

is,''what is the statute of limitations'' if any ?

My work is in construction,so it is nessary to be

able to go from job site to job site.If I drive

without a dr. lic. and tags on the car and get

caught, the penalty would be financially servere.

I feel caught in the middle.what is your advice ?

Re: dr.lic. suspended

You can get your license back by coming to an agreement with the district attorney to pay your back support and paying ongoing support. This may be a very easy process and I have done it as quickly as by just making a telephone call. Not all cases are that easy, but you should contact an attorney who handles cases with the District Attorney that is collecting the support. He should be able to tell you what it will take to get your license back. Everyone wants you to make lots of money so that you can support your kids. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
