Legal Question in Family Law in California

My fianc� was just informed that a girl he once slept with is filing for child support for a 1 year old child that she is claiming is his. My fianc� demanded a paternity test and now we are waiting to hear from the court for the subpoena for the test. She lives in Texas and filed there and my fiance and I live in California. How long can it take for my fianc� to be subpoenaed for testing? How long after the subpoena is received will it take to get the results?
