Legal Question in Family Law in California

Can I File a WRIT and seiz his bank account

I currently have an order for child support and a wage assignment. His current employer is not responding to the wage order. The father of my child owes mor than 15k in back pay child support. Can I file a WRIT and seiz his bank account? If so How do I do that? What form do I use. Any guidance would help.

My recommendation is that you retain an attorney to handle this for you. The employer can be held responsible and possibly in contempt for failing to follow the court order. Need more info re entire matter. Don Holben 800-685-6950

There are statutory penalties on an employer who disregards an Order Assigning Salary or Wages. You can attach the bank account of your spouse but not the bank account of your spouses' employer.

I suggest that you consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!
