Legal Question in Family Law in California

If I filed for divorce two years ago, but it did not finalize, do I need to file a new form, and start fresh, or can I amend the old one?

Check with your local court clerk. If they show it as an active case, and no response has been filed, you can just file an amendment. If the case is open and a response was ever filed, you will need to file a motion to amend. If the case has been closed/dismissed, you will refile.
