Legal Question in Family Law in California
A friend of mine is married with two very young sons. Her and her family are living in CA. now that the husband is no longer in the military. CA is her original resident state. Her husband just took the boys to St. Louis to visit his family for Thanksgiving, stating that he would return after the holiday. He just informed her that he is now staying in St. Louis with the boys and is filing for divorce. He also cleaned out their bank account right before rent was due. He is stating that he's never coming back to CA and she will never see her sons again unless she moves out there. What are her legal rights to have her sons returned back to CA?

She needs to immediately file for divorce and for an ex parte emergency return of the child. I would highly suggest she have an attorney.
