Legal Question in Family Law in California

My girlfriend left me and moved to Colorado from California. We had a baby girl on July 18th 2009 she took our baby and is denying me any contact with my baby girl. Is this a Felony Child Kidnapping? She filed for child support and I am receiving letters from Child Services located in Merced County inquiring financial information in attempt to acquire financial support for my baby's mother. What do I do?

You need to immediately file for child custody. You need to file in the County where the child resided the last 3 months. If the child has been out of state for 3 months, you may have a bit of a problem.
