Legal Question in Family Law in California

Grandma's Will

I will never forget that My grandmother always spoke of money that was saved for my sister brother and I. I have an idea of what the amount was, but Never saw anything or received any money. How would I find out more information on this? I'm thinking my mother or Father never told us about this after my Grandma Passed away. Thanks a Bunch for this help!

Re: Grandma's Will

This is a probate, trusts and wills question. How long ago did your grandmother pass away, was there a probate or was any property distributed to a trust to your mother or father? When and if you know how did they receive anything?

If you are a beneficiary of assets under a trust or will, you can demand a copy from whomever has it, and see if you are a beneficiary, or if you are the designated beneficiary on an account, you can make your claim. The problem is information, where are any estate planning documents, where were the assets? This has to be investigated.
