Legal Question in Family Law in California

guardian ship

Mother signed Nomination and waver of notice for guardianship of 2yr old the judge gave me temperary guardianship untill court date. Since then the mother has signed up for welfare in another county claiming the baby, she took her for a visit and didn't return her.I had the police assist me in getting the baby back. The mother has never been around the baby since she was 4mths old.Now the mother filed a objection to guardianship. How do I let the court know of the change in circumstances. What do I do next? How do I keep this baby?
